If you are the type that needs a little more adventure than just the dolphin swim, then the program in Orlando offers that chance. The SeaVenture might be what you are looking for, a chance to go on the Grand Reef’ at Discovery Cove salt water lagoon. You will have a innovative experience and underwater walking tour where, while wearing a safe dive helmet, you’ll feel right at home under the water with all your new tropical salt water friends.
You will find up-close excitement around every corner of the salt water lagoon, each step yielding a new discovery of tropical fishes and rays. You will easily climb down a ladder and set foot on the reef floor where you’ll come eye-to-eye with sharks through an 8-foot-tall, 21-foot long panoramic window. During your journey, you’ll experience one-on-one encounters with unique animals, schools of fish and velvety rays. You’ll even get to touch unique sea life found along the way. Your underwater adventure ends with large schools of fish and feeding them. They will be all around you with the massive Discovery Cove open reef as your backdrop.
Your SeaVenture is a once-in-a-lifetime, undersea experience. Some say it’s like walking on the moon but, surrounded by fish. You will be on a 45 minute guided excursion from starting with a brief orientation session and ending with a certified scuba trainer and guide that will take you underwater walking through The Grand Reef that will be filled with incredible animal encounters only found at Discovery Cove.

If you’re participating in 3 or more add-on experiences during your visit to Discovery Cove, please plan to arrive by 7:30am for check-in and proper scheduling of your day.
